Shoot photos and videos straight into your vault

Vaulteo's camera seals every photo and video the moment you take it. Your shot never lands in Photos, never syncs to iCloud, and never shows up in Memories.

Short answer

Open a vault and tap Camera. Every photo and video you take goes straight into that vault, sealed with AES-256-GCM. The shot skips Photos, iCloud and Memories entirely.

The moment you photograph a passport with the normal Camera app, it lands in Photos. From there it syncs to iCloud, shows up in search, and might pop up in a Memories video.

Skip Photos completely

Open a vault and tap Camera. Choose Photo or Video. Every shot goes straight into the vault you have open, sealed with your vault's key, with no confirm step to slow you down.

  • Nothing lands in Photos.
  • Nothing syncs to iCloud.
  • Nothing appears in Memories, Search or widgets.

Use it for the shots you'd hate to leak

  • Your passport, driver's license and ID cards, front and back.
  • Your health insurance card and prescriptions.
  • A seed phrase you need for a minute, before you write it on paper.
  • A car accident, a dented rental, a landlord's broken promise.
  • A whiteboard at work you shouldn't share.

Share without leaving a copy

Tap Share on any photo to send it. Vaulteo hands iOS a temporary copy and deletes it the moment the vault locks.

Questions you ask about this

Does the private camera shoot video?
Yes. Switch to Video. Vaulteo seals each video in 1 MB pieces and plays it back without writing a clear copy to the disk.
Can I move a shot to Photos later?
Yes. Open it and tap Share. Vaulteo hands iOS a temporary copy and deletes it when the vault locks.

Lock it on your phone, with AI that never leaves it.
